Insomniac Games' superhero open-world sequel, ported to PC by Nixxes and released January 2025. Spider-Man 2 keeps the Insomniac Engine's ray-traced reflections and adds expanded DLSS 4 support — a smooth, well-optimised port carrying the original PS5 release's strengths.
How demanding is Spider-Man 2?
Spider-Man 2 runs on Insomniac's in-house engine with ray-traced reflections enabled by default at higher presets. PC adds DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS. Manhattan rooftop traversal at full speed is the heaviest GPU and streaming load; CPU draw-calls are manageable on any current six-core or better processor.
What GPU do you need for Spider-Man 2?
Our estimates suggest the RTX 5070 or Radeon RX 9070 XT comfortably clears 120 FPS at 1080p; the RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT clears 110 FPS at 1440p. Native 4K above 60 FPS lands on the RTX 5070 Ti and above; the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 push past 80 FPS at 4K. Any modern EMARQUE gaming PC delivers a smooth web-slinging experience.
