Remedy Entertainment's return to the Federal Bureau of Control, released on PC on 24 September 2026. It runs on Remedy's Northlight engine and launched with DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution, Ray Reconstruction and Multi Frame Generation, AMD FSR 4.1, and full path tracing.
How demanding is Control Resonant?
Very, even before ray tracing. At native 1080p Ultra with RT off, current cards need an RTX 5060 Ti or Radeon RX 9060 XT to sit around 60 FPS, and only the RTX 5090 holds 60 FPS at native 4K. The medium RT preset cuts frame rates by a quarter or more on every card, and 8GB cards fall away sharply at 4K with RT on.
What GPU do you need for Control Resonant?
For native 1080p with medium RT at 60 FPS, the RTX 5070 Ti is the comfortable pick, with the Radeon RX 9070 XT right on the line. At 1440p the RTX 5080 gets close and the RTX 5090 clears it. Most players will run DLSS or FSR upscaling, which is how Control Resonant is built to be played. Path tracing is a further step up, and on RTX 50 series cards DLSS 4.5 with Ray Reconstruction and frame generation makes it playable from the RTX 5060 at 1080p.
