Capcom's sci-fi action adventure set on a lunar research base, released April 17 2026. Pragmata is Capcom's most aggressive RE Engine showcase to date — it ships with ray-traced GI and full path tracing on PC, the product of an 18-month engineering collaboration with NVIDIA.
How demanding is Pragmata?
Pragmata builds on the RE Engine's new path-traced lighting pipeline with SER and ReSTIR GI. Standard ray-traced GI and reflections are on by default; full path tracing requires DLSS 4 and Ray Reconstruction on RTX hardware. The lunar interiors with reflective surfaces and emissive lighting are what hammer the GPU hardest at maxed settings.
What GPU do you need for Pragmata?
With standard ray tracing on, our estimates suggest the RTX 5070 or Radeon RX 9070 XT comfortably clears 60 FPS at 1080p, and the RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT clears 60 at 1440p. Native 4K above 60 FPS leans on an RTX 5080 or RTX 5090. For path tracing, plan around DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation on an RTX 5080 or above — set up an EMARQUE build that fits.
