Konami's complete Unreal Engine 5 remake of the 2004 classic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, with co-development by Virtuos, released August 28 2025. Delta keeps the original level design while modernising every visual and lighting system around UE5's renderer.
How demanding is Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater?
Snake Eater Delta uses Unreal Engine 5 with Lumen and Nanite, plus DLSS 4, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS upscaling with Frame Generation support. The dense Tselinoyarsk jungle is the heaviest GPU load — foliage density, dynamic shadows and Lumen-driven indirect lighting through canopy gaps. The linear structure helps keep CPU draw-calls in check.
What GPU do you need for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater?
Our estimates suggest the RTX 5070 or Radeon RX 9070 XT comfortably clears 75 FPS at 1080p; the RTX 5070 Ti or RX 9070 XT clears 55 FPS at 1440p. Native 4K above 60 FPS realistically needs an RTX 5090 — or DLSS 4 Quality on the RTX 5080. Any current EMARQUE gaming PC handles 1080p and 1440p comfortably; spec to 4K only if it's your target.
