Arc Raiders
Epic Preset / RTGI Epic ON / DLSS Quality / No Ray Tracing
Tested with AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D • DDR5-6000 MHz
Estimated frames per second (FPS)
Tested at Ultra High Settings
Embark Studios' third-person extraction shooter, released October 30 2025 on a heavily customised NVIDIA branch of Unreal Engine 5. Embark stripped Lumen, Nanite and Virtual Shadow Maps and rolled their own GI — the result is a UE5 title that holds high frame rates on hardware as old as an RTX 4060.
How demanding is Arc Raiders?
Arc Raiders uses NVIDIA's RTXGI (DDGI) for real-time global illumination instead of Lumen, plus ray-traced effects on supported GPUs. Upscaling covers DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS and UE5's TSR. The custom engine path keeps CPU overhead low and frame times tight even during chaotic raid extractions.
What GPU do you need for Arc Raiders?
Our estimates put the RTX 5060 above 100 FPS at 1080p and the RTX 5070 above 150 FPS at 1440p. Native 4K above 60 FPS comfortably falls within reach of an RTX 5070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070 XT; the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 push 120 FPS and beyond at 4K. Any current EMARQUE gaming PC will run this raid-friendly engine cleanly.
