Frequently asked questions
What ships with this build, how its chassis, cooling, storage and expansion differ from the other two DGX Station models, and the warranty behind it.
-
What distinguishes the ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3 from the other DGX Station builds?
It is the quiet one, and the only DGX Station whose maker publishes an acoustic figure at all.
- Acoustics. ASUS states approximately 50 dB in Auto Mode at maximum load, measured without a discrete graphics card fitted. No other DGX Station partner publishes a number to compare against.
- Power supply. 1,600 W rated 80 PLUS Titanium.
- Cooling. A single-piece cold plate with integrated liquid cooling and four side fans, with ASUS rating sustained operation between 10 and 35 degrees Celsius ambient.
- Chassis. 584 mm wide, 232 mm deep, 565 mm tall, 27 kg net. ASUS fits top carry handles for two-person lifting and a dedicated fan over the optics cages.
- Lead time. Typically 10 weeks from the confirmed order.
If the machine is going into an office rather than a server room, this is the build to specify.
-
How much storage does the ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3 actually ship with?
Four terabytes, as two 2 TB drives mirrored for the operating system. The chassis holds four drives and ASUS advertises up to 8 TB, but that is the ceiling, not the configuration that arrives. ASUS does sell a four-drive SKU; the default is two.
We call this out because a ceiling quoted as a shipping figure is the easiest specification error to make on this class of machine and the hardest for a buyer to forgive. If you need the remaining slots populated, say so at quotation and we will price the four-drive configuration.
Wi-Fi 7 is available on this build as an optional module rather than standard fit. It is not listed in ASUS's own specification table, so do not assume it is in the box.
-
What is the warranty and support arrangement on the ASUS ExpertCenter Pro ET900N G3?
Three years with on-site service at next business day, per the distributor quotation for this SKU. That is the only documented on-site response among the three builds EMARQUE carries, and it is the practical argument for this machine where a depot return would be disruptive.
Worth knowing how that is sourced: ASUS does not state a warranty term on the ET900N G3 product page itself. The three year on-site figure comes from the channel quotation, which is the operative document, and we will confirm it in writing on yours.
EMARQUE handles any RMA locally in Malaysia. These units are collected from or delivered by EMARQUE headquarters only. The 90 day exchange and lifetime labour that apply to EMARQUE-built PCs do not apply to this line.
