A gaming PC in Malaysia runs from roughly RM 3,000 for solid 1080p to around RM 11,400 for a machine built for 4K and high refresh rates, and up past RM 22,000 if you want the RTX 5090 flagship. Where you land depends less on which games you play than on the monitor you plan to run them on. Here is what each budget actually buys.
What each budget buys
Prices re-checked 21 August 2026 against the current EMARQUE catalogue. Component costs are moving quickly at the moment, so treat these as a snapshot rather than a quote.
- Around RM 3,000. NEO with Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 5050. 1080p esports at high frame rates.
- Around RM 3,200. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX 5060. The same CPU with a stronger GPU, for 1080p high in newer titles.
- Around RM 4,700. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 7500F and RTX 5060 Ti. Comfortable at 1080p ultra. This build carries the 8GB version of the card, so treat 1440p as a stretch rather than the target.
- Around RM 6,000. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 7500F and RTX 5070. The value pick for 1440p high, with headroom to stream.
- Around RM 7,800. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 7500F and RTX 5070 Ti. 1440p ultra, and 4K high with DLSS 4 doing the work.
- Around RM 9,000. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 7500F and RTX 5080. Genuine 4K ultra, and strong for creative work.
- Around RM 11,400. FLOW with Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080. The X3D chip is worth the step if high refresh rate is the goal.
- Above RM 22,000. FLOW ULTRA with RTX 5090 from around RM 22,900, or the Ryzen 7 9800X3D build at around RM 24,600. The ceiling, for 4K at high refresh and heavy creative or AI work. See the RTX 5090 guide before spending this much.
Prefer AMD Radeon?
Radeon builds sit alongside the NVIDIA range at similar price points, and are worth a look if you value raw rasterisation per Ringgit over NVIDIA's ray tracing and DLSS 4 lead.
- Around RM 3,700. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 5500 and RX 9060 XT 16GB. 1440p at medium, with the extra VRAM headroom the 16GB card brings.
- Around RM 6,000. INFINITY with Ryzen 5 7500F and RX 9070 XT. 1440p ultra, and 4K high with FSR 4. The Radeon answer to the RTX 5070 Ti tier.
- Around RM 8,100. XR with Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RX 9070 XT. The same GPU paired with the X3D chip, for high refresh 1440p.

Why these prices keep moving
Memory is the reason. DRAM makers have shifted capacity toward AI datacentres, and the cost flows through into every build that contains RAM. If a quote you saw last month has gone up, that is usually why rather than anything local. The RAM price explainer covers what changed and whether waiting helps.
How to read the resolution guidance
The guidance above is deliberately conservative. It describes settings you can hold through a long session, not a peak benchmark number.
That distinction matters when you are comparing quotes. A card that averages 90 FPS but dips into the 40s during a busy scene does not feel like a 90 FPS card, and average figures hide exactly that. If a spec sheet only gives you averages, it is not telling you how the machine behaves when it is working hardest.
Where the money actually goes
Two parts of a build are worth more attention than they usually get.
The power supply. It is the least interesting component and the one most often cut to hit a price. Undersizing it limits what you can upgrade to later, and a poor unit is the part most likely to take others with it when it fails.
Cooling and case airflow. A GPU that throttles under sustained load gives back performance you already paid for. This is why fan curves are tuned to the case rather than left on the motherboard default, and why every build is tested under load before it ships.
What the price includes
- Memory stability, GPU stress and CPU thermal testing before dispatch.
- The parts list you approve is the parts list you receive. No brand substitutions.
- Three-year warranty on the build, handled locally, with component warranties on top.
- Insured nationwide delivery, typically three to six working days from order.
